The overall experience was amazing, our chef was professional and personable. Stacie was a pleasure to watch, she engaged us in conversation while explaining what she was doing. Would choose to use her again for sure.
The highlight of my Chef Experiences was "Just chatting away with Courtenay and getting served delicious food! 10/10"

On Sunday, October 17th 2010 over 250 women gathered at Eagles Nest Golf Club to raise funds for York Central Hospital, learn about healthy aging, have fun and build new friendships. The sponsors of the event included an array of national and local businesses including The Chef Alliance, who also provide raffle prizing.
The event was organized by the team at the Richmond Hill Branch of Assante Capital Management Ltd. The morning started by learning about the hospital and hearing from a patient, past Chair of the Foundation and long-time supporter, Nancy Coxford along with the current Chair of the Foundation, Dr. Nick Voudouris. The first keynote speaker, Dr. Bryce Wylde, homeopath and nutritionist, and host of Wylde on Health and author of the bestselling book, The AntiOxidant Prescription, spoke about healthy aging and managing it through antioxidants.
The next keynote speaker, Dr. Fred Weksberg, internationally renowned cosmetic dermatologist, talked about how to manage aging externally with cosmetic procedures. With the engaging and informative keynote speakers, fun activities, an energizing fitness break and interesting booths to visit, the event received a winning response from those in attendance.
The event helped raise $25,000 that will be used to fund needed medical equipment including 2 ICU defibrillator monitors. In honor of the Joy of Aging contribution, a plaque will be displayed at the family/patient area on the fifth floor ICU at the York Central Hospital.
